The aim of the panel in Figure 16 is to indicate the status of SLiC process running in either pctri07 or na58pc037. For this panel, used twice as a reference in hvSystem.pnl panel, the process being monitored can be defined by a $ -parameter. Background color of the monitor in the figure is connected to an instance of a FW device called _FwProcsMonitor (ref. Additional JCOP-Framework components). Double-click on the monitor figure opens the panel slicOperationPanel.pnl (2.19) used for operation of SLiC processes.
In case of SLiC monitoring, "heartbeat" -parameter of an instance of _FwProcsMonitor is connected to a DIM service holding information about the survey cycle of SLiC process. When SLiC process dies, the readout cycle is not running anymore and this will raise an alarm in PVSS system. In previous case the color of the monitor figure will change according to defined color convention (ref. General Compass DCS document).
