COMPASS Run 2011
Beam in 2011: from May 12 to
The 2011 beam is scheduled for first delivery on Monday, May 12. Beam set-up
in M2 is starting May 5-9.
Due to a problem with the TAXes in the North Area beam lines and the necessary repair beam delivery started June 9.

COMPASS Hall 888
The COMPASS experiment is located in the Experimental Hall North 2
building 888, on the Prevessin site of CERN.

Shifts during the 2011 run
Shifts are scheduled this year with 2 spectrometer shifters which will also for most
of the time cover the polarised target. They take place in the hall 888 in the
control room HNB 411 (1-014) and HNB415 (1-016) from 0h to 8h, from 8h to 16h and
from 16h to 24h every day.
