on the
COMPASS test beams.
For the COMPASS test beam activities the
X5 beam line
in the CERN west area will be used. This beam line has three
experimental areas (A,B and C). The COMPASS activities will share area X5B with CMS.
Here some selected informations on the
X5 beam line:
- beam energy: up to 250 GeV/c
- beam particles: electrons, pions and muons
