1.Study both calorimeter (HCAL+EMC) simultaneously on hadron beam. For this we need 26x6=14 of an hours - 6 days 2.Study HCAL with new H/V base (Cocron Walton divider) - 3 days. 3.We can to send in CERN 100 HCAL modules. And these modules should be tested on hadron beam. We will have done the test of 100 modules using setup 5x5=25. For this position we need -10 days. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Summary: - 19 days. > 1. contact person: Oleg.Gavrichtchouk@cern.ch > > 2. type of detector to be tested: HCAL1 > > 3. period foreseen for the tests: 19 days > > 4. do you handle with flammable gases (yes, no): no > > 5. longitudinal size of the detector (including frames etc): > [cm]: 155 cm > [radiation lengths]: > [interaction lengths]: 5 > > 6. transverse size of the detector [cm]: 100x100 cm > > 7. beam energy [GeV]: 20,40,60,80,100 > > 8. beam particles (electrons, hadron, muon): electrons, hadron > > 9. estimated # of events: 2.3*10 in 6 power. > > 10.a) desired rate [particles/spill]: 1000 > > b) maximum tolerable rate [particle/spill]: 1000000 (10 in 6 power) > > 11. independent tracking required (yes, no): yes > > 12. readout electronics: QDC , 12 bit > > 13. estimated amount of rack space for the readout > electronics: 2 > > 14.
