Minutes from target meeting held January 30 2015 in 892-1-D20 These minutes are available also from: http://wwwcompass.cern.ch/compass/detector/target/Minutes/2015/ a) On Monday assemble target holder vacuum and Kevlar tube for target cells. Insert target holder into mixing chamber. Clean access tube after removal of target holder and close it with metallic plug. Possibility to use a spirit level and a laser pointer during the target material loading was discussed. These could help to align the target holder correctly before insertion into mixing chamber. b) On Tuesday open helium-3 roots pump WKP4000 bottom plate. Assemble the bottom plate with new internal water cooled heat exchanger and old water feedthroughs. All the dimensions are ok. Disconnect the heat exchanger from the plate and close the water feedthroughs with DN25 blind flanges. Check the dimensions on the bottom plate versus the drawing NA58PT20140610-1. Remount the bottom plate and start to pump out air from roots pumps. c) On Wednesday remove target loading platform. The iron in the loading platform can disturb the magnet testing. d) Helium leak found from P10 piezo pressure gauge flange connection. Replace the helicoflex seal with aluminium seal. Repeat the leak test. e) Fabrice: connect electrical heaters on magnet turrets to melt accumulating ice during the cool down. 'Brut' water is back and can be used to start the vacuum diffusion pump system. Cold box commissioning going on. External LN2 reservoir already filled. Waiting for the cold nitrogen gas exhaust line. f) Kaori: add new SMA connectors and thin coaxial cable to shopping list. g) Norihiro: order new capacitive pressure gauge in 10^-2 - 110 mbar range. This includes the helium-3/4 vapor pressure range below 2 K. This type of pressure gauge gives same reading for all gases unlike the pirani gauges now in use in the dilution cryostat. h) Spare CPU for the Siemens PLC S7 300 was discussed.
