Minutes from target meeting held October 9 2015 in 892-2-009 These minutes are available also from: http://wwwcompass.cern.ch/compass/detector/target/Minutes/2015/ a) On Monday morning rotate 0.6 T dipole field to 2.5 T solenoid and measure target polarization. b) On Wednesday morning rotate 0.6 T dipole field to 2.5 T solenoid and measure target polarization. Go to zero field for 30 minutes and restart to build positive polarization to upstream target cell and negative to downstream cell. On Thusrday morning 1:00 the upstream EIO microwave generator tube oscillation stopped and was restarted at 7:00. While restarting the EIO outlet wave guide temperature reached 32 C and the microwave power supplies were stopped by the PLC interlock. Cleaning of EIO water cooling pipes was discussed. c) Norhiro changed the threshold for microwave interlock from +32 C to +40 C. Christophe implemented closer tracking of polarization build up process to the COMPASS DCS system. Now if the polarization starts to drop in 2.5 T solenoid field the shift gets an alarm. d) Kaori: update relaxation time table in transverse 0.6 T dipole field. Gloves and white laboratory coat could be worn for extra protection. It is a good idea to wash hands after the work.
