Minutes from target meeting held March 14 2014 in 892-1-B09 These minutes are available also from: http://wwwcompass.cern.ch/compass/detector/target/Minutes/2014/ a) Cryogenic signals from helium liquefier were discussed. These were used to the Siemens PLC interlock to switch off the still heater or microwaves in case of failure of LHe supply. LHe buffer dewar level and pressure could be received as 4 - 20 mA signals to the PLC substation under the platform. The helium liquefier running status could be received as a open/close contact. Similar signal of normal operation of the magnet could be received too. In addition a magnet fast discharge or quench could be indicated by a open/close contact. The external LN2 reservoir level could be received as 4 - 20 mA signal. b) Kaori: the NMR PC should be able to control the magnet power supply to automatize background signal taking during the thermal equilibrium calibration. c) Norihiro: needle valve positions could be visible from the DCS system and written to the Oracle database. New windows computer received that could be used for local data storage and monitoring. New version of Siemens Step 7 needs to be installed to this computer. d) Storage of the raw NMR signals was discussed. Network accessed database is probably necessary if the signals need to be accessed from web. e) Kaori: external water cooling pipe connections for the Lauda cooler unit for microwaves were received.
