a) Solenoid and dipole current reading for the COMPASS DCS was discussed. 
In 2004 the Danfysik Ultrastab 860R solenoid current transducer output 
on the rear panel was cabled to the DCS ELMB on the Saleve side of the target 
platform. A high common-mode operational amplifier AD629 was used to measure
the voltage from the dipole 0.75 mohm series shunt resistor. The amplifier 
output was connected to the same ELMB. See

Fabrice: solenoid and dipole current values are available from the run logbook
MySQL database.

b) Norihiro: enhance polarization on Friday 14:00 - 21:00. Microwave reversal 
started Monday 18:00. Tuesday 19:00 polarizations +76.9%, -76.2% and +78.4% 
reached. Enhance polarization on Thursday 09:00 - 16:00 to +79.8%, -78.2% and
+80.6%. 

c) Norihiro: change LN2 trap filling parameters in the PLC. Warning about empty
LN2 dewar now only after 55 fillings. 

d) Yuri: faster destroying of polarization with microwaves and low 4 V still 
heater. High polarization lost in about 40 minutes.

e) The long SPS machine development scheduled on July 19 - 24 was discussed.

f) Kaori: target polarization can now be monitored in transverse field.

g) Jaakko: communication with Picowatt on the AVS-47 warming up the other 
target holder thermometers. Some possibilities (Reijo): current due to 
DC-offset, broken and oscillating preamplifier, additional ground loop due 
to AVS-47 or some modification done to the AVS-47. Needs to be investigated 
during a suitable technical stop.
