a) Wednesday October 24 longitudinal field 2.5 T. Polarizations +89.2%, -78.3%
and +82.4%. Thursday 10:55 roots #13 gas outlet heat exchanger thermal switch 
failure, only three pumps running. Target warmed close to 1 K and polarization
lost. The thermal switch bridged and roots pump system restarted. Restart 
polarization. Friday at 10:00 -72.3%, 77.5% and -73.2% reached. At 10:46 start 
transverse data taking.
