Minutes from target meeting held November 2 2007 in 892-1-B09

a) On Sunday October 28 to 2.5 T at 7:30 with polarizations -71.4 %, +76.0 %
and -71.5 %. Restart polarizing. Short VETO intervention at upstream of the
target on Monday evening due to change over to longitudinal running. Restart
polarizing 18:20. Tuesday morning 09:00 polarizations -89.2 %, +81.3 % and 
-85.2 %. Start data taking in longitudinal 1.0 T field. Field rotations at 
1.0 T done on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings.

b) On Wednesday 02:00 pump room air conditioning failure. TCR called in the 
morning. One of the two air fans on the roof collapsed. Restart air 
conditioning unit with only one fan. Thursday morning roots #20 motor cooling 
fan stopped. Restart fan and add external air blower.

c) Yuri: after several days in frozen spin mode new polarization build up goes
faster. Possible reason cross relaxation between nitrogen-14 and protons.

d) Ammonia target with nitrogen-15 was discussed.
