Minutes from target meeting held June 8 2006 in 892-2-009 These minutes are available also from: http://wwwcompass.cern.ch/compass/detector/target/Minutes/2006/ a) Deuterated butanol three cell target was loaded on May 27. Evaporator was filled with 4He and temperature of 1.15 K was reached on June 2. The mixture of 3He and 4He was condensed on June 8 and minimum temperature of 120 mK was reached without still heater. Microwaves were applied to the three cavities and the speer resistors used as bolometers showed on the up-, middle- and downstream target cell efficient coupling of microwaves. b) All NMR coils were tuned. Up- and downstream cells have two 4 cm long and 3 cm diameter saddle coils. In addition there is one 3 cm long saddle coil at the most up- and downstream end of the target. The middle target cell has three 4 cm long saddle coils and one 3 cm long saddle coil at its upstream end. c) All the thermometers in the target holder are working. Each of the up-, middle- and downstream cells has a 220 ohm speer resistor and a ruthenium oxide resistor. d) The evaporator roots pump Alcatel RHV2000 is broken. The axial coupling piece between the motor and the pump needs to be replaced. e) On June 8 during the setting up the 2.5 T magnetic field was lost suddenly. The cavity warmed up to 50 K, but practically no effect could be seen in the mixing chamber.
