Minutes from target meeting held on 7th of November 2002 in 892-2-009 a) Jaakko presented preliminary TE-calibration results done with Root. A straight baseline was fitted to the residual background with 10 different cutting windows +-10 to +-20 kHz around the center of the NMR-signal. The first calibration at 1.01 K started from 19th of September 18:20 and ended 20th of September 16:00. Second calibration at 1.33 K was from 20th of September 22:40 to 21st of September 12:30. A straight line was fitted to the areas versus time plot to get average area. The 1.01 K and 1.33 K results were fitted to Curie law c/T, where fitting constants c gives the final calibration constant. b) Yuri said that the temperature error should be determined for spin temperature during TE with about 3 h magnetic relaxation time. With 1.5 % the linear and parabolic baseline fits agree with each other. Norihiro suggested to shift NMR center frequency to remove jumps from the background files. Jaakko suggested Norihiro to make a model for spin cooling with spin-spin system coupling to lattice, which is coupled to the phonons or rotons in surrounding 4He. During TE-calibration filling of LN2 trap was seen to produce 4 mK jump in temperature. Norihiro said that this should be avoided next year. c) From LHC/ECR/Cryolab Laetitia gave information about oxygen and humidity analysers of Gruter & Marchand. The analyser are in level 0 - 100 ppm, which is too sensitive in general oxygen leak checking although in normal operation this should be sufficient. These analyser are in 2000 - 3000 euro price range. There is also information about humidity sensors. d) Communication from Gerhard M.: OIS magnet has been opened at Oxford- Danfysik. Visually the impregnation of coil winding seems to be bad and there are blisters in epoxy.
